I was born with Spina Bifida and Cerebral Palsy, although this was not diagnosed until I was 16 years old. I love to be very active. If I am not doing races I going downhill skiing in the winter and participating in martial arts. I am currently a first-degree black belt in taekwondo.
I got involved with MTT in 2015 when I participated in the Triumph Mile. I walked a mile for the first time in my life and completed it in 4 hours and 33 minutes with the help of my Angels cheering me on. Since then I have done everything from the Bellin Run, Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, Door County Half Marathon and so many, many more with the most recent and amazing event, IRONMAN Wisconsin.
