It was a very powerful day! our 8 Captains and 21 Angels inspired inclusion by taking on the 13.1 or 26.2 miles. Through the course, they faced challenges but selflessly worked together to cross that finish line! These rock stars also raised more than $1,200 for mTT!
The race itself is powerful but what lasts is a greater sense of self confidence, new friendships and a community who will think differently about people with disabilites. It’s about gratitude and acceptance. This is our mission. This is what our team members accomplished!
When asked what the most valuable aspect of his experience with mTT, one of our Angels responded…
Creating inclusion in my community., Meeting peers with similar interests., Being a valued team member., Hearing the crowds cheer for our team., Challenging myself., The personal satisfaction I feel for “doing something good for someone else”.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to Madison Festivals and Race Day Events for being so supportive of our mission
We’ve put together album of photos and a highlight video.
Congratulations, Captains and Angels!
